MDP Student Collaboration on Digital Living Lab Development

ICOE continued its collaboration with Delft University of Technology by hosting a multidisciplinary group of graduate students to conduct field investigations and jointly develop the Digital Living Lab platform for coastal monitoring and research.

As part of the ongoing partnership between the Institute of Coastal and Offshore Engineering (ICOE) and Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), ICOE welcomed a multidisciplinary delegation of graduate students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, and the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management.



During the program, students participated in field investigations at the Mekong Living Lab while working closely with ICOE researchers to support the development of the Digital Living Lab platform. The collaboration integrated field observations, stakeholder engagement, and digital technologies to enhance data collection, visualization, and knowledge sharing for coastal management.



The program provided valuable opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, international collaboration, and the co-development of innovative digital solutions that support sustainable coastal resilience and Living Lab research in the Mekong Delta.
